What is Dholera SIR?
Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) is a world-class Greenfield Industrial Smart City located near Ahmedabad. Under the Special Investment Region Act 2009, DSIRDA was established to plan, regulate, and execute development.
Dholera Industrial City Development Limited (DICDL) — a joint venture between the Central Government & the Government of Gujarat — manages the development under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC).
Spread across 920 sq km and covering 22 villages, Dholera will be India’s first Platinum-rated smart industrial city.
The vision is to build a futuristic, environmentally sustainable, and globally competitive industrial hub with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
